In 2010, we were asked to create a campaign touting the various types of Fifth Third Bank checking accounts. The problem was, they had the exact same features as all of their top competitors. Instead, we took inspiration from something far more interesting.
The work highlighted the vast range of offerings from Fifth Third’s checking line by focusing on the very unique needs of some very unique people. It takes all types. And Fifth Third Bank has a checking account for each and every one of them.
The campaign ran online and on radio receiving kudos from both press and the AdFed Show. I also had the pleasure of meeting a local legend: the rollerblading Santa Claus of Lake Calhoun. Nice guy!
