Brian Hurley is an Independent Creative and Art Director, specializing in advertising, film, digital, content marketing, creative strategy and design.
As a graduate of the University of Minnesota with degrees in both Advertising and Studio Art, he began his career in the paste-up department at Martin Williams. During the daytime, he created mockups and boards for the agency’s presentations. At night he turned any creative opportunity he could get into award winning work. Within six months, Brian was promoted to Art Director where he created campaigns for brands including Payless, Boy Scouts of America, Donatos and Lincoln Financial Group.
In 2007 Brian moved to Olson, creating multichannel work for Minnesota Wild, Nike Bauer and Fifth Third Bank as both an Art Director and an Associate Creative Director. In 2011, he was promoted to Creative Director, leading the agency's work on Yoplait, Liberté and Mountain High. He now knows quite a bit about yogurt.
During his time at both agencies, his work has been recognized by The Emmys, The One Club, The ADDYs, The AdFed Show and The EFFIEs.
In the fall of 2013, Brian left Olson to pursue his passions as an independent creative, where he has been crafting strategic ideas that bring brands to life both individually and in partnership with other agencies.
